1. What makes Arkisploot products different? 

All of our accessories are handmade in Nova Scotia, designed and sewn by a dog mom of three. Every piece is made in small batches with carefully selected fabrics and tested by our dogs to ensure comfort, durability, and style. 

2. How do I choose the right size for my pet? 

We provide a detailed size guide under each product listing. 
If you're unsure, send us your pet’s neck measurement — we’re happy to recommend the best size. 

3. Do you offer custom orders? 

Yes! We can customize sizes, fabrics, add-on snaps, and even matching scrunchies. Just send us a message on Instagram or through email to discuss your ideas. 

4. Can I wash the bandanas or bows? 

Absolutely! 

Everyday Reversible Bandanas & Tassel Bandanas: Hand wash or gentle machine wash, hang to dry. 

Bows & Tuxedos: Spot clean only to maintain shape. 

Care instructions are included with every order. 

5. How long will my order take to ship? 

Processing time is generally 3–5 business days, as everything is handmade. 
Shipping within Canada typically takes 2–7 business days depending on the province. 

6. Do you attend local markets?  

Yes! Arkisploot is a proud vendor at Nova Scotia markets such as Christmas at the Forum and Steele Wheels.

7. Do you ship outside of Canada? 

At the moment, we ship across Canada and the U.S. International shipping may be added in the future — stay tuned! 

8. My pet doesn’t like wearing accessories. Any tips? 

Try introducing the bandana or bow slowly: 

Let them sniff it first 

Put it on for short periods 

Pair with treats to create positive association 

Most pets warm up quickly — especially when they get compliments!
